SUS444 / AISI 444 Stainless Steel Sheet
Grade 1.4521 is a dual stabilized ferritic stainless steel containing 2% molybdenum, equivalent to European code 1.4521 and American standard ASTM 444. With molybdenum alloying and 18% chromium content, this grade offers excellent corrosion resistance comparable to austenitic grade 4401/4404 in various applications.

Surface Finishes
- #1: Hot rolled annealed and descaled

Technical Characteristics
Formability: Excellent cold formability with deep drawability comparable to carbon steels. Lower work hardening rate than austenitic grades.
Welding: Good weldability with minimal heat input required. Austenitic fillers typically used.
Heat Treatment: Non-heat treatable alloy.
